Amazon offers a service called prime pantry. This is an exclusive offer for Amazon Prime members. Members can shop for groceries and other household products. You can get free shipping on these items too with the purchase of 5 qualifying items (out of a list of thousands of items) of they will ship them for a flat fee of 5.99 per box! Their pantry offers a wide selection, exclusive savings and the convenience of not having to go to the store. You can order your groceries online without having to buy in bulk and the items are delivered right to your door! By having these things delivered you also save yourself time. They offer weekly deals and coupons as well!
From what I can see in comparing the prices on items that I routinely buy in the brick and mortar stores it seems the prices are very close to one another. Some are a tiny more, some a tiny bit less and others right to the penny of my usual stores. Have a look yourself... grab your last receipt from getting groceries and compare the prices!
